Adventure #1

I have NO earthly idea what I think I'm doing writing a blog. But, never the less, I am. I thought it would be a fun project. A way to keep family and friends up to date on our daily adventures.
Our newest adventure is buying and moving into our new home! Talbot and I had been looking around Oxford at homes that were for sale, mostly for fun. However, it seemed that the homes we found were over our budget. Until one day, when Mom and I were riding around Oxford while the boys slept, we stumbled on a house for sale. Just out of curiosity I called the "For Sale By Owner" number and was given a figure I could live with! The house looked awesome on the outside, but I was dying to see inside. A week later we met the owner and did a walk through. We fell in love with the house. The owner recently gutted and remodeled the inside, it's a 1965 Ranch style. I think the most exciting part for me, is that is going to be a constant project! I'll start with painting, but hope to eventually add on a deck! Our closing date is July 15th.
